Coleman Rail / CYP contracted BDS Civil and Construction to assist with the installation of the new tram tracks around the newly constructed Anzac Station. Anzac Station has been strategically placed to ease pressure on the St Kilda Road/Swanston Street tram corridor, which is the busiest tram corridor in the world. It will service thousands of train and tram users, pedestrians, cyclists and motorists every day.

Tasks Successfully Completed:

• Installation of track switches, diamonds and curved rails.
• Installing track drainage and formwork along track margins.
• Concreting track to underside of rails and placement of crushed rock prior to asphalting works.
